Deploying TurboDB ODBC with own applications

When deploying applications based on TurboDB ODBC it is necessary to register the driver on the end users machine.

Almost all commercial installation programs offer options to register a new ODBC driver and adding necessary data sources (DSN) during the installation of your program. If your installation program does not offer such an option it is possible to register the driver just by adding some registry keys. See Registering the driver for more information about registering the driver without installation program.

After the driver is installed data sources necessary for your application can be added. The appropriate tool is the ODBC Administrator, which is part of every Windows system.
